SUMMARY:Funky Food Festival 2nd
DESCRIPTION:Funky Food Festival is an initiative by Sustainary that aims to strengthen connections between Danish and international youth through food and culture. The project brings together participants for a communal dinner where traditional Danish dishes are given a cultural twist inspired by the participants themselves. The event is free and open to everyone\, with registration available online. \nThe festival begins with participants cooking together\, creating space for conversations\, collaboration\, and cultural exchange. During the dinner\, a participant introduces the traditional dish\, followed by others who share how they added their own cultural influences and personal stories. After the meal\, participants are rearranged into new groups for a collective cleanup\, which serves as an informal team-building activity. \nAs part of the evening\, Florencia from La Grupa\, a psychologist with experience in intercultural dialogue\, will give a short pitch on the importance of community\, mental well-being\, and inclusion. Her talk will inspire both Danish and international youth to engage actively in local networks and social life in Denmark. \nAddress: Station\, Howitzvej 30\, 2000 Frederiksberg \nNovember 13th\, 16-20 kl \nSign Up Here!

SUMMARY:Vejen til Erfaring | The Way to Experience - International students and graduates (Copenhagen)
DESCRIPTION:Free \n16th February 2026 \n17:30–19:00 \nStation\, Howitzvej 30\, 2000 Frederiksberg \n\nApply \n\nVejen til Erfaring | The Way to Experience – International students and graduates (Copenhagen) \nVejen til Erfaring | The Way to Experience is a four-session career development program designed to support international students and graduates in Denmark who are struggling to turn their education and international experience into meaningful employment. \nMany international talents face the same challenge: they have skills\, education\, and motivation but find it difficult to translate their background into something Danish employers understand and value. This program is designed to help you bridge that gap. \nAcross four practical\, hands-on sessions\, participants will gain clarity about their career direction\, learn how to communicate their competences effectively\, strengthen their professional presence\, and build confidence for job interviews. \nThis edition is held in partnership with Dansic and People of 2050\, and is supported by Tuborgfondet. \nProgram Format\nLocation: Station\, Howitzvej 30\, 2000 Frederiksberg\n\nTime: 17:30–19:00\n\nFood & Drinks: Coffee\, tea\, water\, and snacks provided\n\nWhat to bring: Your laptop and a willingness to actively participate \nEach session follows the same structure:\n\nWorkshop · Short break · Hands-on implementation \nThis is not a lecture series\, you will actively work on your CV\, LinkedIn profile\, career strategy\, and interview skills during the sessions\, with guidance throughout. \nSession Overview \nDay 1 – Design Your Future \nBuilding a Career Roadmap & Personal Strategy\nWhen: February 16\nSpeakers: Mathias Rune & Valdemar Andersen \nThis interactive session helps you step back and reflect on where you are and where you want to go. Through guided exercises\, you’ll identify your strengths\, interests\, and values\, explore realistic career directions\, and create a clear personal roadmap. \nBy the end of the session\, you’ll have defined five concrete milestones and a clearer understanding of how to move from studies to working life with intention rather than pressure. \n  \nDay 2 – From Experience to Employability \nTurning Academic & Personal Experience into Professional Value\nWhen: February 18\nSpeakers: Sorina Floroiu Rasmussen \nMany students and graduates struggle to explain why their background is relevant\, especially when their experience doesn’t look “traditional.” This workshop focuses on translating academic projects\, student jobs\, volunteering\, and international experience into competences employers actually look for. \nYou’ll learn how to move from listing tasks to presenting clear\, credible\, and relevant professional value\, and how to reflect this effectively in your CV and applications. \n  \nDay 3 – Maximizing Your Visibility on LinkedIn \nPersonal Branding & Professional Networking\nWhen: February 23\nSpeaker: Manuela Sobral \nThis session goes beyond simply “having a LinkedIn profile.” You’ll learn how to position yourself professionally\, communicate your strengths clearly\, and use LinkedIn as a strategic tool for networking and job searching in Denmark. \nTogether\, we’ll work through profile sections\, content strategy\, and networking etiquette\, helping you become more visible and confident in the digital professional space. \n\n\nDay 4 – Interview Preparation \nConfidence\, Communication & Practice\nWhen: February 25\nSpeakers: To be announced \nThe final session focuses on preparing you for job interviews\, both practically and mentally. Through exercises\, mock interviews\, and feedback\, you’ll learn how to talk about your background with confidence\, answer common and challenging questions\, and adapt to different interview formats (including online and competency-based interviews). The goal is not perfection but confidence\, structure\, and authenticity. \nSign up here! \n📩 Questions? Write to us at info@sustainary.org \nSign up now

SUMMARY:Nature & Neighbours
DESCRIPTION:With Nature & Neighbours\, we want to give you a simple and free way to join nature trips that focus on our local environment\, especially in and around the city of Copenhagen. On these small trips\, you will be in a group of about 10 to 15 people\, guided by a local expert who knows the area and the topic well. Our main goal is to help you notice and understand the nature around you\, spark a little “oh wow\, that’s interesting” moment\, and hopefully create a stronger connection between people and nature. After all\, we cannot care for or protect something we do not understand. \nFor this tour: \nBringing binoculars is not required\, but highly recommended. If needed\, you can rent binoculars at Naturcenter Amager at a very reasonable price. Please note that we will not start at the nature center\, so allow extra time if you plan to rent them beforehand. \nWe will be outdoors\, so please dress according to the weather. Practical footwear is advised. While we will stick to roads and pathways\, some areas may be wet or muddy\, and it can be windy in open spaces. \nSign up here: \nSign up

SUMMARY:DebateLab: Is AI helping us find our voice or rather toning it down?
DESCRIPTION:DebateLab: Is AI helping us find our voice or rather toning it down?\nApril 22 | 16:00–18:00 |  Room 04.0-037\, RUC \nMany young people have opinions they would like to share in public spaces but lack the confidence or practical skills to do so. DebateLab responds to this challenge by supporting young people in finding their voice and using it. Through workshops\, practice\, and a final debate event\, participants learn how to structure arguments\, speak with confidence\, and engage constructively with others. This special edition at RUC is designed for students who want to feel more comfortable speaking up and contributing in group environments. \nHave you ever doomscrolled through Linkedin or Facebook and felt that all posts were just different versions of the same base text? If you have\, know that you are not alone\, and flattening of personality due to poor use of AI while creating content is a documented problem. In this workshop we will look into what generative AI can and cannot do\, and how it can be used to improve clarity\, structure\, and confidence in written communication. You will work with real examples such as job applications\, LinkedIn posts\, and short written pitches\, followed by a quick experiment on how AI\, when poorly used\, kills personality instead highlighting it.  \nA key focus is how to maintain your own voice while using AI as a support tool. You will learn how to refine your ideas\, make your message more precise\, and avoid sounding generic or detached. By participating\, you gain practical strategies for using AI responsibly and effectively\, as well as concrete techniques to present yourself more clearly in professional situations.\n\nFor further information on the event\, please contact Frederikke Trolle-Christensen at fltc@ruc.dk \nAttendance is free\, but registration is mandatory! DESCRIPTION:Speak up: your one-chance of causing a good first impression?May 29 | 13:30 to 16:00 |  Greencubator\, Nørrebrogade 20\, 2200 København K \nMany young people struggle to express themselves clearly in social\, academic\, and professional settings\, not because they lack ideas\, but because they are unsure how they come across to others. Speak Up is a hands-on workshop series designed to help participants communicate with more confidence\, clarity\, and authenticity. \nHave you ever held back from joining a conversation because you were afraid of saying something wrong or making a fool of yourself? If so\, you are far from alone but over time\, this hesitation can limit not only personal and professional growth\, but also meaningful participation in communities\, civic life\, and democratic conversations. To tackle that\, Speak up aims to empower participants to express their ideas\, pitch projects\, and lead conversations. \nThe first of 4 workshops: What Color Are You? Understanding Your Communication DNA\, focuses on self-awareness and communication styles. Inspired by the DISC framework\, participants will get a chance to explore how different personality tendencies shape the way we speak\, listen\, react\, and interact with others. By combining communication training with democratic dialogue principles participants will have a safe space to practise taking the floor\, listening openly\, facilitating discussions\, and contributing meaningfully to group processes. \nThrough interactive and practical exercises the first session of Speak up will help you identify your communication style and explore how it interacts with other styles. You will gain insight into your own communication patterns\, strengths\, blind spots\, and learn how to build adaptability in different situations. \nFor further information on the event\, please contact info@sustainary.org.Attendance is free\, but registration is mandatory!
