Nature & Neighbours

With Nature & Neighbours, we want to give you a simple and free way to join nature trips that focus on our local environment, especially in and around the city of Copenhagen. On these small trips, you will be in a group of about 10 to 15 people, guided by a local expert who knows the area and the topic well. Our main goal is to help you notice and understand the nature around you, spark a little “oh wow, that’s interesting” moment, and hopefully create a stronger connection between people and nature. After all, we cannot care for or protect something we do not understand.

For this tour:

Bringing binoculars is not required, but highly recommended. If needed, you can rent binoculars at Naturcenter Amager at a very reasonable price. Please note that we will not start at the nature center, so allow extra time if you plan to rent them beforehand.

We will be outdoors, so please dress according to the weather. Practical footwear is advised. While we will stick to roads and pathways, some areas may be wet or muddy, and it can be windy in open spaces.
