Vejen til Erfaring | The Way to Experience – International students and graduates (Copenhagen)
Vejen til Erfaring | The Way to Experience is a four-session career development program designed to support international students and graduates in Denmark who are struggling to turn their education and international experience into meaningful employment.
Many international talents face the same challenge: they have skills, education, and motivation but find it difficult to translate their background into something Danish employers understand and value. This program is designed to help you bridge that gap.
Across four practical, hands-on sessions, participants will gain clarity about their career direction, learn how to communicate their competences effectively, strengthen their professional presence, and build confidence for job interviews.
This edition is held in partnership with Dansic and People of 2050, and is supported by Tuborgfondet.

Session Overview
Day 1 – Design Your Future
Building a Career Roadmap & Personal Strategy
When: February 16
Speakers: Mathias Rune & Valdemar Andersen
This interactive session helps you step back and reflect on where you are and where you want to go. Through guided exercises, you’ll identify your strengths, interests, and values, explore realistic career directions, and create a clear personal roadmap.
By the end of the session, you’ll have defined five concrete milestones and a clearer understanding of how to move from studies to working life with intention rather than pressure.
Day 2 – From Experience to Employability
Turning Academic & Personal Experience into Professional Value
When: February 18
Speakers: Sorina Floroiu Rasmussen
Many students and graduates struggle to explain why their background is relevant, especially when their experience doesn’t look “traditional.” This workshop focuses on translating academic projects, student jobs, volunteering, and international experience into competences employers actually look for.
You’ll learn how to move from listing tasks to presenting clear, credible, and relevant professional value, and how to reflect this effectively in your CV and applications.
Day 3 – Maximizing Your Visibility on LinkedIn
Personal Branding & Professional Networking
When: February 23
Speaker: Manuela Sobral
This session goes beyond simply “having a LinkedIn profile.” You’ll learn how to position yourself professionally, communicate your strengths clearly, and use LinkedIn as a strategic tool for networking and job searching in Denmark.
Together, we’ll work through profile sections, content strategy, and networking etiquette, helping you become more visible and confident in the digital professional space.
Day 4 – Interview Preparation
Confidence, Communication & Practice
When: February 25
Speakers: To be announced
The final session focuses on preparing you for job interviews, both practically and mentally. Through exercises, mock interviews, and feedback, you’ll learn how to talk about your background with confidence, answer common and challenging questions, and adapt to different interview formats (including online and competency-based interviews). The goal is not perfection but confidence, structure, and authenticity.
