Weaving a Blanket of Belonging was a full-day facilitated event designed to explore how Danes and internationals can co-create a more inclusive and connected society in Denmark.
Purpose
Weaving a Blanket of Belonging aims to explore how Danes and international residents can co-create a stronger sense of belonging and community in Denmark. Through dialogue, shared experiences, and collaborative learning, the project seeks to build bridges between Denmark's strong tradition of fællesskab (community) and the lived experiences of newcomers.

Project Description
Weaving a Blanket of Belonging was a one-day facilitated event held in 2025, designed to explore how a more inclusive and connected society can be built in Denmark. The event was framed around the metaphor of weaving diverse threads into a collective blanket of belonging, highlighting how different experiences and perspectives can contribute to a shared sense of community. The program combined storytelling, panel discussions, and participatory workshops based on the Design for Belonging approach.
