Purpose: 
Volunteer for Impact and Career Growth aims to empower students and recent graduates to see volunteering as a pathway to developing skills, building community, and strengthening their career opportunities in Denmark. The initiative encourages both Danish and international young people to engage in meaningful volunteer work while gaining valuable experience and connections.

Organized by Sustainary in collaboration with SENPAGE, the event focused on demonstrating how volunteering can support personal growth, professional development, and social impact.

Project Description:
Volunteer for Impact and Career Growth was a collaborative event held on August 29, 2024, at Station in Copenhagen. The event brought together Danish and international students, as well as recent graduates, to explore the role of volunteering in building skills, gaining local experience, and becoming part of an impact-driven community.

The program featured two engaging panel discussions with representatives from several student and youth organizations.

The first panel, led by SENPAGE, explored the culture of volunteering in Denmark and provided practical guidance on how students can get involved in different organizations and initiatives.

The second panel, led by Sustainary, focused on how volunteering can help international students integrate into the Danish job market. Discussions highlighted how volunteer experiences can strengthen CVs, build confidence, and expand professional networks—often serving as an important stepping stone toward employment opportunities.

By creating a space for knowledge sharing, networking, and dialogue, the event provided participants with actionable insights and connections to help them navigate their career paths with greater purpose and confidence.
